Leadership Theories Task-oriented leadership can be delineated as a behavioural manner in which the leader lays emphasis on the tasks that require being undertaken so as to meet particular objectives, or to attain a particular performance standard (Forsyth, 2009). The main reason why I would justify using this particular style of leadership is because it focuses on structure, plans, and schedules. In addition, task-oriented leadership encompasses aspects such as prioritizing objectives, forming detailed plans and schedules, reviewing tasks consistently to make certain that the project is on track. It also takes into account setting and adhering to rigid schedules for all elements of the project and assessing all of the elements of the project with the personnel. In this case, this style of leadership make it possible to consider all elements such as safety, innovation design, whether the budget constraints are still in place and whether all other aspects of the project are being followed (Spahr, 2015).

Through proper communication, all members of the team will be able to understand what tasks are required of them and the timelines set. In addition, communication as a strategy will make it possible to hear out new ideas and suggestions that will make the project more successful (Windemere, 2016).
A second strategy that will help the Techfite project team work effectively is collaboration. As pointed out by Windemere (2016), most teams do not know or understand how to collaborate properly. This is because they utilize approaches of conformity and support that are not as effective. Actual collaboration is demanding and takes time, therefore most team member's work on their own in a manner that is seemingly effortless, but the output usually lacks quality.
